Why live in Steinmeier Estates?

Steinmeier is a fantastic neighborhood to call home. Sidewalks run throughout the neighborhood, homes are well maintained, and the trees are mature and diverse. The location offers easy access to downtown, Broad Ripple, Fishers and a back door to the Castleton and Keystone mall areas. Great public and private schools, pools, churches, and sports clubs are all nearby.

And did I mention…we like to have fun! Check out some of our neighborhood events…

Steinmeier Garage Sale

The Annual Steinmeier Garage Sale is on Saturday, June 8th from 8am – 2pm.

Participation is free, but we request you register. We provide maps with sale addresses highlighted (house numbers only, no names) to help customers navigate our often confusing streets. The neighborhood also pays for promotion of the sale through the Indy Star and Topics newspapers (no addresses listed, just promoting the neighborhood sale as a whole).

If you are registered, you are listed on the map and the Salvation Army will be by after the sale to collect any items you wish to donate. You must be a registered sale for them to pick up. They request items be stacked at the end of the driveway and have a note stating it’s for Salvation Army Pickup.

To register, please use our online form below, or email Jenny Yumibe (jenniferyumibe@yahoo.com) by June 5th with your last name, address, and a short description of your sale.

REGISTRATION CLOSED — you can still participate in the sale, but you will no longer be listed on the map.  Thank you!!

Castleton Revitalization Plan Ideas

Hi Neighbors!
At our April board meeting we invited Joel Smith, our neighborhood liaison with the Mayors office, to discuss our role in the Castleton Revitalization Planning.  He sounded very positive about the project and requested feedback from us.  He suggested we collect some ideas of things we’d like to see done with the Castleton area to give it new life and attract businesses. We’ve created a form to collect this information as a neighborhood to provide to Joel.

Please share any ideas you have for the project using the form below.  You can also to contact Joel yourself if preferred, his contact information is at the bottom of the page.  This form will collect all ideas into a spreasheet which we will then provide to Joel. Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas!
